Thank you so much for your review. I look forward to your other book reviews as well. Your review style has been the most helpful one I found thus far.

I bought the book and I was confused by Amazon reviews of it claiming it did not teach well and was just a puzzle book. Well in the beginning I needed words and thought process guidance to improve from 1000 to my current level but I do see that beyond this requires actual analysis and evaluation work as the wunderkinds with much less experience have shown us( knowledge is one thing, understanding and skill is another)

Your review is clear and helped me a lot. Thanks so much again. Your summary of each chapter also is very very much appreciated.

I could start the book now but I'm at the 1400-1500 level and I don't think I would gain as much from it unless I have seriously ingrained a few thousand tactical and mating patterns and solidified basic visualization skills.

Shout-out to FM Peter Giannatos that also convinced me to get this book.
